We are bringing forward proposals for a sustainable, high-quality development in Chadwell St Mary, on land to the north of the village.
Our vision is to create a carefully planned development that:
- Respects the character and setting of the existing area
- Delivers much-needed new homes, including affordable housing
- Provides generous public open space
- Contributes towards local infrastructure and community facilities
- Creates a logical and coherent extension to the village
The proposals are being developed in response to the identified housing need in the area, ensuring new homes are delivered in a planned and coordinated way.
The Site & Proposals
The site comprises open agricultural land located to the north of Chadwell St Mary. It is not subject to significant physical or environmental constraints and presents an opportunity to form a natural extension to the existing village.
We are preparing an outline planning application for:
- Up to 380 residential dwellings
- A mix of market and affordable homes
- Areas of public open space, including green corridors and informal recreation areas
- Associated infrastructure, landscaping and sustainable drainage
- A proposed point of vehicular access from Heath Road
As this is an outline application, detailed matters such as layout, appearance, landscaping and scale will be subject to further approval at a later stage.
